If auto start stop stops your engine, shifting from drive (d) to reverse (r) will not restart your engine unless you are pressing the brake pedal. Wait until a tune come out for it. It also happened with it on. Stop your vehicle in drive (d). Then when you step on the gas pedal it is supposed to crank the engine and get it running again.
Release the clutch and accelerator pedal. Maintain pressure on the brake pedal. Try driving with the auto start/stop turned off, must be turned off each time you first start the car. For vehicles with manual transmission, fully depress the clutch pedal.
