I haven’t really used the free version much, but i like the concept of. I’ve been playing guitar for about a year, and i’m thinking about subscribing to the paid version of songsterr. You can already download the tabs from the website for free and load them straight into guitarpro or tuxguitar or whatever.
Songster plus is $10/mo, but i can't find ultimate guitar tab pro's pricing on their site.
This has made it one of the best places to. It does everything guitar pro / tuxguitar does, plus you can sync with real recordings (youtube videos or mp3s) to practice with them and slow them down — much better than cheesy midi. The article suggests that ultimate guitar subscription is a better value than songster subscription. My only recommendation would be to listen hard to the song you're trying to.

I'd say songsterr's as solid a place as any to start, definitely better than most tab sites in terms of accuracy too. Do you agree with songsterr's trustscore? The free plan gives one access to all tabs contained, and what is referred to as a “subset” of features; Songsterr is imo has definitely been worth the $10.
