This is for stock rom users that wants to update through fastboot images (may and onwards) and save user data. I had a bootloader locked mi a2 stuck in a bootloop so i took it apart put it into edl mode and flashed stock images via miflash tool using the 'save user data' option. Press “refresh”, select “clean all” and press “flash” to start flashing your device.
