You're sure that it does have continuous strong spark when it won't start? 2007 yamaha yfz 450 will not start. Nothing kills the excitement of a ride faster than a motorcycle that refuses to start.

It ran fine, you could crank it right up and ride all day. Do a leak down test, if you see bubbles or hear air coming from the radiator, you have a blown head gasket/cracked head or jug. Have you checked to make sure you're actually getting fuel/spark?

I bought a 2007 yfz 450 about 3 months ago. It cranks over but does not want to start. Have you tried starting fluid when it won't start? Pull the plug after cranking and see if it's wet.
Anyway we've fixed that and it's running great now. I installed the new starter and no change, i did pull start it and it ran great and it will start when the motor is warm with the start button but when the motor is cold it will not turn the. After flushing oil, changing plugs and cleaning the carb the bike would crank fine but. Set the valves, they were barely out of spec (on the tight side obviously).

I've got a problem that's kicking my ass on my yfz. So the motor turns over is what your saying, but won't start. Maybe the engine cranks but won't fire up,. No start, cranks fast and tries to catch but no glory.
I just replaced the relay with a genuine yamaha one so that. About a month ago i got on it and tried to crank it, it back fired real loud and. Quad ran great a week ago,minus battery dying. We found that if a valve spacer comes loose, and sits in the space holder wrong you cant start it for beans.

When you have difficulties starting do you get fuel to the cylinder and sparks on the plugs when you pull out the hi tension wire from the engine?
Charge the battery overnight on a 2 amp charger and see if it cranks in the morning. Below is the complete service manual to help with rebuild. After a short tow back to the truck i can see the cause for the issue is water in the air box. Found the problem, it was the tp (throttle position) sensor or switch was stuck open.
My neutral light isn't coming on. It cranks and cranks,but no start. Carb is getting gas, as i drained the bowl when it got flooded. They are now in spec towards the loose end.

We finally remembered bluetraxx and another guy had that. Start by checking compression, if it's not over 100psi while cranking a ring job should fix it. It cranks but i've got no spark. Did you tried replacing the cdi for your bike?.
