The mpr competition only differs from the mpr in the name and the barrel. I looked into getting a christensen rifle a few years ago and found extremely inconsistent reviews on them, usually. Has anyone else been getting pressure signs at lower powder charges with their christensen arms rifles with factory barrels? Mostly barrel issues it seems but poor bolt timing, bad extractors, stocks, etc. Have since put 3 boxes of sierra game kings through it. I have definitely heard some horror stories about christensen arms, however the stories i have heard of were more related to chambering issues.
