I bought a used 2017 textron {arctic cat} stampede 900 eps when i got it home i gave it some tlc & a service= replaced oil/all filters/spark plugs & greased it up. Went to put it in park yesterday and the shift lever is now free and stuck in high I recently purchased a new old stock 2018 stampede and had the grinding issues right off the bat.
Can someone help me i continue to have problems with my 2018 textron stampede 900 warn winch now the remote won’t bring the synthetic cable in or out
It had 3 miles on it when i bought it 2 weeks ago, has about 10 now. Textron stampede problems typically encountered by owners after their first 100 miles is a grinding noise while shifting and difficulty in changing gears. I have to turn the engine off, change gears and then start the engine again. Overall, the textron stampede 900 4×4 has held up very well.
I never saw it leak water either in my garage or while it was on. Could not get parts so i started looking for an engine. Our 2017 textron stampede 900 died when driving it (after making a terrible noise). Light consistent throttle on fairly flat ground no problems.

We simply have heard of no complaints or lingering problems, which is unusual to say the least.
Have an issue all the sudden where the utv will cut out randomly mid range throttle and under load. When we first heard the noise, we immediately stopped driving it.at first we thought it might be a linkage issue, but after further inspection looks like the sound/jolting is. Been pretty happy with it so far (other than oil filter access) but it’s started having an intermittent problem recently where the check engine light will flash and the throttle pedal. Checked oil and there wasn’t any.

I just tried trading in my 2019 stampede with 300 hours, its in excellent condition, dealers wont even take in textron utv's anymore, hard to get parts for them.
My 2018 textron stampede has problem shifting gears as well.
