Swift is only offering.31 mile and you don't get paid for the training. I know someone just posted a similar thread about werner vs swift, but figured i'd throw in roehl, because those are the three that i have a pre hire. Regardless of what i like, i know i have to apply to as many companies as i can (i already applied to about 30), and then choose. I have a few questions for anyone still working for roehl or swift. Roehl transport is most highly rated for culture and swift. Roehl is offering more money doing flatbed (.41 mile) plus getting paid starting on day 1.

Roehl sounds like a no brainer but.
By comparing employers on employee ratings, salaries, reviews, pros/cons, job. Both your time quotes (roehl 4 weeks and swift 200 hours, not miles) are about the same. Hello, i was just looking for a little insight on either of these companies. Roehl flatbed is cheap, garbage freight.

After doing more research, i think i like prime, swift, and roehl. Roehl has 150000 or whatever miles contract, which the recruiter said it takes about one and half year to finish. Roehl pays $500 weekly while in school, but the contract is something like 18 mos. I could be wrong in.
What kind of driving do you want to do? Roehl is german for cheap. For roehl, its a total of $7,000, which is paid off by doing a total of 120k solo miles, regardless of how long that takes you. What about this trucking company?

Swift also has good training. With swift, there is no contract. I work at roehl and so far it's been pretty good. Compare company reviews, salaries and ratings to find out if roehl transport or swift transportation is right for you.
You will only rarely see a smaller carrier or owner op hauling the same cargo. I got my cdl through them and been driving for about 9 months in their national flatbed fleet.
