Confused by duralast vs monroe vs gabriel? Kyb has never let me down and they have consistently excellent quality and everything so far as either been japanese or usa. Duralast shocks are made by gabriel, which is more or less equivalent to the same stuff made by monroe (in my experience). I put duralast struts ($200 /ea) in my toyota sienna, but there is a weird problem with consistency.
My advice would be to buy kyb gr2 shocks/struts. Any one have any experience with them? Oem strut assemblies are pretty expensive but they may be worth it. I have been buying autozone parts for a long time and have had good luck with them, i was wondering if anyone has had an issue with the struts or shocks.
