If you plan on working in the chicagoland area (and even some other nearby states), depaul has a solid reputation and at almost every major company in the area, will you find several depaul. I am going in undecided but am leaning towards communications, english, business.

Please add to the discussion here. The school is excellent and it's not difficult to find your place here, but the tuition is a bit outrageous and i. Depaul is like a 30 minute bus ride from uic.
Before you go, it might be worth it to get in touch with financial aid.
After this semester is over i am thinking of attending depaul. Live on the depaul campus if you really want and take the halsted bus to class at uic. The worst part about depaul is the cost of attending and living here in chicago. Depaul is great, but if you've got an alternative you'd be happy with that's charging you a lot less, i'd say go for that instead.
Save tens of thousands of dollars. Nothing wrong with that, just all depends on how you’re trying to position yourself and navigate your career post. Although others said the depaul fa office said march 1st. Many of my friends from depaul have good jobs now, but not in the top tier.
